South Africa<\/span> is an active participant in many of the collaborative scientific experiments of the current 4th<\/sup> International Polar Year (IPY 2007-2008). <\/span>As part of the program, the National Research Foundation (NRF) has commissioned a documentary film on SANAE. <\/span>Internationally acclaimed film-makers Damon and Lauren Foster (Foster Brothers Film Productions) have risen to the challenge. Having taken part in the expedition during the 2007-8 summer, <\/span>they capture all aspects of the unique environment, trials, tribulations and successes.<\/span><\/p>\n
